I met Carolyn when we lived in Ramshead Crescent and were both first time mums. Have some lovely wonderful memories of children’s parties, bonfire nights and trips to the park. I valued your friendship and support you and Dave gave us when I was very ill I’m 1990. Although we lost touch when we moved away we did keep in touch. Rest in peace dear friend. I value and treasure your kindness. Ros xx

We first met Carolyn while working for the Skelton Woods Environment Group, Heather being a member of that group and a Chairperson. Carolyn's gentle soft spoken nature, put us both at ease and we soon became friends. Her passing shocked us, because we never expected her to depart so soon to God's care.

We wish David well and hope he can draw strength from the happy memories he shared with Carolyn and we are sure that they will meet again.
Our condolences to Heather and James and our best wishes to all of you for the future.

I have such fond memories of Carolyn... her gentle mannerisms and kind soul. I remember staying over at Carolyn's house when I was younger and she cooked a lovely meal where we all sat together as a family. She always made me feel loved through her thoughtful and selfless actions.
James summed it up perfectly: Carolyn was a good person, through and through. Although she has gone, she continues to live on in our memories. Rest in peace Carolyn.

Mrs Jackson, that I won't see you again has hit me quite hard. When I think of you I am an 11year old again. You and David welcomed me into your home with warmth and compassion, and spending time at your house was a huge part of my growing up! Much love, and God be with you and your family, Carolyn.

Thank you for being a good friend and for all the happy times shared - usually over cups of tea, coffee and - of course - cake! Thinking of you today along with everyone who knows you.

Carolyn was such a lovely, soft spoken lady. Always had such kindness for everyone. She was a wonderful mother and wife and a very proud grandmother. Her love and kindness will live on in her 2 wonderful children.

Carolyn saw the good in everyone, she was quiet and unassuming and gave herself to serve others with a pure heart of gold.
As a sister-in-law she was one in a million

It's not often that I meet a person that is good for goodness's sake. God has a plan and you were one of God's candles. I miss you.
